On February 12th, we left Phoenix on a 300 mile journey to Las Vegas in order to pickup a new puppy. While on the way back, we found a nice place to stop on the side of the road just outside of Kingman, Arizona. The scenery looked pretty nice, so we decided to take the Phantom 2 out for a spin.

It would've been great to be there while the sun was setting, but I think that the shot's still turned out great. One thing that helps when it's really bright outside, is having very strong ND filters to stop down all that light. To do that, I just used the BlurFix Air ND8 CP filter. The nice thing about this filter specifically, is that it also has circular polarization which helps keep the sky from being overexposed.
