The GoPro Hero 4 Black Edition is finally here! Now It’s Time For Some Tests!
I got the GoPro Hero 4 Black Edition on October 6th at about 2:00 PM. It’s now 9:30 PM so I haven’t had a lot of time to shoot any video, but here’s a quick unboxing.
Note: I’ll be posting a full review and comparison video in the future.
I’m going to start off by saying, that I decided to get the Hero 4 Black Edition because of the 4K recording. The Hero 4 Silver is cool too, but everyone loves 4K video! Once you add taxes and insurance, it comes to about $600, so if 4K isn’t necessary for you, then one of the other Hero Cameras would be a much cheaper option.
After getting home and taking a closer look at the box I discovered that the Smart Remote is no-longer included with the camera. This isn’t really an issue for me, since I’ll usually be controlling the camera with my iPad, holding it in my hand, or just flying it on my quadcopters. If you really need the remote though, you can still buy it separately for $80.
