Razer Eidolon Drone

A computer gaming company by the name of Razer released in interesting April fools video.

The Razer Eidolon is a small drone that will follow you around while streaming live video to your contact lenses, basically allowing you to turn your life into a third-person video game. This is one of the coolest drone ideas ever. Even though this video was just a joke, 20 years from now I could imagine anyone being able to have their own personal drone to help them with different tasks.

Although the Idea of a following drone with video contact lenses is definitely fake, the drones used for the video were not. The main drone seen in all of the cut scenes was a Hubsan X4 With Camera, you can find a video about it here. they also make a more expensive model called the Hubsan FPV that streams video to a controller. I’m not entirely sure, but I think the other drone used to shoot the aerial shots was a DJI Phantom 2 with a GoPro
